Why Now

Cleveland is a battle proven sports town with a passion for women’s sports. From the WNBA Rockers, to the Cleveland Fusion, to our current bid for an NWSL team and a new WNBA team, our time is NOW.

And yet... Cleveland women’s sports fans have been hidden in corners of conventional sports bars with the smallest tv or settled for an occasional pop-up experience.

The fact is: Cleveland women’s sports fans do not have a consistent space to call home to rally with other fans and show their love of the game.

We plan to change that.

A Place for All

Yes, The W is a women’s sports bar, and we’re proudly planting our flag there. But that doesn’t mean we’re shutting anyone out or excluding others.

Our goal is to create a space that’s inclusive, welcoming, and built for fans of women’s sports—while recognizing that women’s sports fans are sports fans, period.

That means you’ll find women’s sports front and center on our screens and on our walls, but we’ll also have men’s sports on as well because, at the end of the day, this is a place for everyone who loves the game.
